Unicorns Are Antelope

A big part of improving your art is working on anatomy. The purpose of this wiki is to bring together different sources to help improve elfwood's resident artists' grasp of it.

If you know of any websites, books, tips, etc.. that can be added to this wiki's listings, or suggestions for the page's improvement, please don't hesitate to message me, [CelticDragon], about it.

2004-09-08 [Tiger Shark]: no comments here yet? oh well *does 1st comment dance* this wiki's helped me a bunch so far

2004-09-08 [dr]: yippee! *commences in second comment dance* i havent gone to any of the links, but im hoping they will be helpful. im always in a quest to improve my art.

2004-09-08 [CelticDragon]: Glad it's helping. ^_^

2004-09-08 [dr]: wow that scales tutorial taught me alot! the way i draw them is sooooo time consuming!!!

2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: I prefer round scales myself. They're even harder!

2004-09-08 [dr]: my dragon alias that I draw has pointed scales, so they aren't as hard to draw, but ask me to draw a chinese dragon...jeez i just make 'em without scales

2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: LOL, Round scales actually look pretty cool. Check both drawing on my house. The first needs work though. @.@ Still, round scales are neat. ^_^

2004-09-08 [dr]: thats pretty cool! if you notice the chinese-ish dragon in my house, it's a scaleless dragon -_-

2004-09-08 [CelticDragon]: Actually, the semi-circle scales I used for an example are the ones on traditional chinese dragons. :) And nice work on your drawings, both of you.

2004-09-09 [CelticDragon]: So no one has to look for what changed, I added a link to a centaur skeleton and a three step dragon head study. Really good drawings.

2004-09-09 [CelticDragon]: And a pegasus wing.

2004-09-09 [dr]: wow i soooo wish i could draw like you...

2004-09-09 [dr]: and thanks a bundle for the centaur skeleton frrame...i've never really been able to figure out the connection between the horse and the man part, so they always look reeeeeeeally akwardly combined...
